Hello! Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me and why I continue to share classroom resources with fellow teachers.

I taught in the classroom for over ten years before becoming a stay-at-home mom. I taught 5th grade in an elementary setting, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Math and Algebra 1 Honors in middle school settings. I also led a Middle School Math Club for three years to win 3 first place trophies, 2 second place trophies, and 3 third place trophies. I loved teaching Middle school and helping students conquer Math. I have always pushed my students with my own creative teaching resources and other teachers have always asked to use them, so it was easy for me to start publishing them for other teachers to use.

{With my Mathlete Team at a Middle School Math Competition in 2011.}

My TPT story started in 2013 after I showed my principal an activity that I created instead of using the one we were given by the SREB. I showed her how much easier it was for helping my students conceptualize math ideas rather than ask them to jump from step 1 to step 10 in an instant without any explanation. She loved it and showed it to the SREB representative. Needless to say he was not impressed of course because it was not theirs. So what did I do next? My graduate program colleague just started her TPT store and I checked it out and was like, hmm... I could post my activity on here. So I did, and forgot about the TPT account like everything else we all start and forget about. Then a couple months later I checked my Paypal and had $100. I was unsure where it came from, then I read the magical words "Teachers Pay Teachers". So I went back to my TPT store and to my surprise many teachers had bought and rated my product. I honestly never imagined being blessed by TPT and it just goes to show that "May he equip you with all you need for doing his will. May he produce in you, through the power of Jesus Christ, every good thing that is pleasing to him. All glory to him forever and ever! Amen." -Hebrews 13:21.

This has been a crazy journey going from a full-time teaching professional to a stay-at-home mom. I have a wonderful supportive husband and two adorable children under the age of 3.

Thank you for stopping by, following me on this blog and Teachers Pay Teachers, and using my resources to help your students. I truly appreciate your support and feedback!
