Ready for January? 

Let's look at math activities to engage all learners this month!







It's the beginning of a new year. With a fresh start comes new activities, projects, and more for students to be engaged in this month. There are many different activities students will love that they can work independently on or within a group of classmates.

1. January Math Worksheets

Perfect for skills review! Students are engaged with different types of math puzzles and printables. Easy to engage any learner. Perfect for grades 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8. 2. January Math Writing Centers

Do your students practice vocabulary in class? This is an easy center activity to add your classroom. Just print and go! Students will read the directions to scaffold their learning of math concepts to figure out how to write math sentences that make sense. Vocabulary for each grade level 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8. Try one of the Write the Room with Math activities with your students this month!








3. Winter Math Activities

Always a hit with students after the long Winter Break. Take a day or two to review math skills with a winter theme. 4. Martin Luther King Jr. Math Activities

Do you celebrate Martin Luther King Jr day? What do your students know about the historical figure? Here are a couple math activities to do for MLK Jr day. 5. January Math Bulletin Board

A favorite monthly activity is the Math Bulletin Board set. Students create the bulletin board with their work. It's easy to print and display with titles for the board included.
