Earn TpT Credits by Providing Feedback
Yes! IT's TRUE!!! I buy all of my fonts, clip art, and other teacher resources on TpT every day of the year and then provide those sellers with a fair rating and comment. I love this feature about TpT and that's why I'm telling you about it, so that you can receive discounts on items for your classroom OR maybe even FREE resources that you have EARNED!
Here's how it works:
1) You receive one TpT Credit for every $ you spend on TpT when you Provide Feedback — both a fair rating and a fair comment — on the items that you purchase.
2) Every 100 Credits is worth $5 that you can apply towards future TpT purchases, but there’s no need to wait until you have 100 to redeem them. 20 credits are worth $1.00, for example!
To date I have only received about 20% feedback from other teachers. That means that 80% of teachers are MISSING OUT on FREE $$ to gain more resources for their classroom. This is another great feature about TpT and I hope you take advantage of it too!

Tips for Teacher Wellbeing during the Busy Work Week
Happy Spring Break! We just made it to Spring Break 2017! Woot woot! During Spring Break every year I like to relax, reflect, and then do a lot more relaxing. Your energy and wellbeing should be the most important thing you invest in every day. Here are some things to reflect on during your Spring Break and hopefully they help you get to the end the school year with a better wellbeing.
1. Do I have a morning schedule where I take 2-5 minutes to relax before the students arrive?
Try arriving at school early (I understand not everyone can do this) and schedule two to five minutes before your students arrive to visualize your day, relax/sit quietly and clear your head (or say a prayer). Make a list of things that help you relax and choose one to focus on during that morning time.
2. Think about how things went FOR YOU (not the students) this past quarter, excellent, good, or okay?
Think about and watch for things that start to worry you and take remedial action. Take deep breaths, forgive ourselves and others, and take brain breaks when available. Think about your schedule, did you get enough sleep, social time, and refreshment scheduled in? Think about your teacher talk, were you more positive or negative? Identify people who help you, give you confidence, and people/things that give you energy to teach.
Need more help?
There are lots of other resources and instructional aides to help make your day LESS stressful and more rewarding. Check out www.teacherspayteachers.com for more resources to help you be the best YOU!

March WRITE THE ROOM with Math {Grades 3 to 6}
I love incorporating Math vocabulary activities into weekly lessons. WHY? It's all for the student growth that teachers see when students put together concepts and vocabulary terms. That is AMAZING! I encourage you to check into my Math Vocabulary resources to help your students make connections in Math and TALK about Math more with the correct terms.
This month I have created a set of vocabulary packets for students to work with their vocabulary with a St Patrick's day theme. Each packet contains grade level specific vocabulary. Check out the previews to see what words are in each grade level activity.

Get students moving, talking, and writing Math Vocabulary in your classroom with any of these sets of Math Vocabulary Sentences. The purpose of this resource is to help students with increasing their mathematics vocabulary. Students write the Math sentences on their paper with scaffolded practice. Students are provided a list of vocabulary words to use to complete the sentences. Students will be engaged and more confident practicing using math vocabulary.
I hope these NO PREP Write the Room vocabulary activities can be a success in your classroom too! It's a great way to bring in cheer and rigor during the Spring season.
Keep up that vocabulary!
